Welcome to Cover Girl. Each month, we gather a team of WWAC contributors to analyze a new and notable comic book cover featuring one or more women. This month Nola, Wendy, and Cori look at that cover of Bashiva #1 by Derek Chua.
What is your initial reaction to this cover as a piece of comics art?
Nola Pfau: It’s certainly one of the more striking things I’ve seen in recent mammary. I mean, memory.
Cori McCreery: Boobs: how do they work? Volume 368.
Wendy Browne: Needs googly eyes.
What do you think the artist is trying to achieve?
Nola: Liftoff?
Cori: Tiddy
Wendy: Symmetry.
Give us a tagline for this cover?
Nola: “Cleave” isn’t just a feat in D&D.
Cori: Please sir, buy me a bra, my breasts, they are dying.
Wendy: And then I cast fireboob. Ball. I cast fireball.
