Litebox also allows contributors to include details on whether or not they were paid and the length of time the payment took. The creators of Litebox hope this will be a step toward consistent wage transparency.

After 15 years online will be shutting down in December to make way for a ‘new and improved tool for collectors.’ Comics news, reviews, and opinion site The MNT will also be closing up shop at the end of November. Again it’s unclear for how long.

We wish everyone involved in both projects the best of luck for the future.
