Okay, everyone. Hold on just one second. Take a deep breath, and then … THROW YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND DANCE!

BECAUSE YOU DID IT!

One week ago, we launched our very first Women Write About Comics fundraiser. Our goal is to turn our calling—writing about comics and culture from an intersectional feminist perspective—into a business. As the first step along that long road, we turned to you, dear readers, for support. We didn’t know what to expect, but we set our goal and put our hopes and dreams out there on the Internet for all to see.

And you know what? We’re floored. We’re amazed. We’re humbled. We’re honored. You all came out and supported us. We reached our $3,000 goal in less than one week. That’s incredible! And we have you all to thank for you. So, with great passion, we say:

THANK YOU!

But you know what? We’re not done yet! We’ve got three weeks left in this campaign, and we have some important stretch goals that will help us become a bigger, better Women Write About Comics—for you, for us, and for the industry we care about so much.

Click on over to Indiegogo to read our latest campaign update and learn about our stretch goal plans!
