Good morning friends.
I fear the news of late is just a list of obituaries and condolences and sadly this week is no different.
Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! passed away this week.
We also send our condolences to the family and friends of author, critic, and cartoonist R.C. Harvey who sadly passed this week following a fall.
Today we mourn the passing of one of our most prolific and beloved contributors, the artist, journalist and historian R.C. Harvey. More will come soon on the legacy of this splendid talent. pic.twitter.com/1O5XDnWqmP

There is however, always some good news, or perhaps neutral news—depending on how you feel about things like comic book adaptations and editoral cartoons—to balance the load:
Stephen Graham and Shira Hass have signed up alongside Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Kyle Soller, and Amaka Okafurto star in Netflix’s adaptation of Bodies. Published by Vertigo, Bodies was created by Si Spencer, Tula Lotay, Meghan Hetrick, Phil Winslade, Dean Ormston and Lee Loughridge.
Adam P. Knave shared a blog to commemorate 10 years of Monkeybrain Comics and the impact it had on the changing comics landscape of the time.
The Association of American Editorial Cartoonists has announced that they will again be holding their annual convention as part of the CXC Festival. Registration is open now to those wishing to access AAEC specific events and exhibitor tables.
That’s all for this week, kids. Stay hydrated.
