It’s time to ring in the new year in Riverdale — even though sometimes it feels like the town that time forgot. December’s Archie Jumbo Comics Digest features the gang making a group New Year’s resolution to avoid lying. The teens split off into two teams. Marcy, Veronica’s cousin, agrees to help them account for their actions. If they last a week, and stay honest about their actions, then they win. Only time — and Marcy — will tell who the victor is.

In the latter story, Archie uses Vegas to pick up dates, but overscheduling, unexpected chemistry and the fact that he invited all of the girls he’s picked up to Pop’s leads to big time trouble — especially when Vegas falls for one of Archie’s dates’ pooches!
Resolution Impossible was written and drawn by Archie Comics legend Dan Parent, with inks by Bob Smith, lettering from Jack Morelli, and colors by Glenn Whitmore. Lucky Dog sports art by Pat and Tim Kennedy, inks by Jim Amash, Letters and Colors by Morelli and Whitmore as well, and writing by Tom DeFalco.
