Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #301 keeps its action centered around everyone’s favorite Riverdale-based best friends, Veronica Lodge and Betty Cooper. The digest combines reprints of older stories with a brand-new story. Drawn by the king of Archie art, Dan Parent, it also sports inks from Jim Amash, color work by Glenn Whitmore, and letters by Jack Morelli. In the tale, Veronica and Betty find themselves stranded with Jughead’s little sister, Jellybean, after the child’s innertube goes off-course during a day on the slopes. The girls are stranded and without cell service, which means they’re going to have to think hard to find a way out of their predicament. The book will street on February 16.
