Neil Gaiman is not Fucking Around When it Comes to Sandman

After 30 years of “successfully battling bad movies of Sandman,” Neil Gaiman is very pleased with what’s to come from the Netflix series. Shockingly (but not actually), people who don’t actually read comics but say they do have issues with the casting, including the decision to prominently display pronouns on DC’s promotions. Gaiman himself has no fucks to give such people.

M. Night Shaymalan is still making movies. His latest is film, Old, is inspired by a graphic novel by that was gifted to him by his children. His daughters gifted him Sandcastle, a French graphic novel by Pierre Oscar Levy and artist Frederik Peeters.

In Memoriam

Family, friends, and colleagues bid farewell to writer David Anthony Kraft, who passed away due to a COVID-related illness.

Berserk creator, Dr. Kentaro Miura, also passed away this month at the age of 54, as announced in a tweet from The Berserk Project:

“Dr. Kentaro Miura, the author of ‘Berserk,’ passed away on May 6, 2021 due to acute aortic dissection. We would like to express our utmost respect and gratitude to Dr. Miura’s painting work and pray for his soul.”

Ta’Nehsi Coates Says Goodbye to Wakanda, John Ridley Says Hello
