Brace Yourselves for Digital Feathers and Rampant Eye Loss: CLAMP Hits ComiXology

Cardcaptor Sakura. Story & Art by CLAMP. Dark Horse Comics, 2010-2012.

The wait is over! Dark Horse Comics just announced that over 800 of its titles would now be available on ComiXology.

You know what that means. Time to get digital copies of your favorites such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Usagi Yojimbo. But what’s even more exciting is that the distribution agreement brings even more works by the prolific creative manga team, CLAMP, whose titles taught us that you can never have enough feathers and that everyone eventually loses an eye.

The new additions to CLAMP’s catalog on the digital platform include well-known manga such as magical girl series Card Captor Sakura and Magic Knight Rayearth alongside lesser known titles like Legal Drug and Clover. Joining the CLAMP collection is also Blood-C, which is timely since Japanese streaming site, Niconico, will be streaming the 12-episode anime series this weekend on the heels of being among 38 titles banned by the Chinese government earlier this month.

If bittersweet stories about the inevitability of fate don’t float your boat, Dark Horse has many other manga titles to choose from, including:

  • Blade of the Immortal
  • Crying Freeman
  • Lady Snowblood
  • Lone Wolf and Cub
  • MPD Psycho

Samurai, assassins, and serial killers, oh my!
