Loyal readers, I apologize for the lateness of this article. I know you’ve been hung on the WWAC homepage all day, hungrily refreshing the page, only to be disappointed again and again.
Well, please allow me to sweep in at the eleventh hour with all the DC news you can handle — or at least, all the news I’ve got for you.
Comics arts Howard Porter and colorist Alex Sinclair have teamed up to design a poster for the upcoming UFC 181. It’s nice of the UFC to credit DC with this collaboration, even if they’re not totally familiar with the DC stable of heroes:
Iron Man, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk and countless others have graced the pages of DC Comics over the years.
Sure.
(Of course, considering DC’s recent merch fail, it might not be such a bad idea for them to just throw in the towel on this one.)
Or, they could offer more merch! Specifically, limited edition Batman stamps, debuting at New York Comic Con.
No word yet on whether there will be a subset of stamps intended purely for wedding invitations, presumably featuring Batman’s non-existent (but well-trained!) wife.
Speaking of Batman (and aren’t we always?) Scott Snyder is fighting back against the raised price of Batman: Endgame, because Scott Snyder is a solid dude.
How about you, caped crusaders? Got any juicy news for me? Send it my way via carrier pigeon, semaphore, or the comments below.
Scott Snyder is a solid dude. Met him at Boston Comic Con this year and he was great.
