Be still, my heart. Jeff Lemire and Paolo Rivera will be joining Matt Kindt on a collaborative four-issue limited series set in the Valiant universe. The arc will feature Bloodshot, Eternal Warrior, and Geomancer as the main acts, along with several other well-known characters as they battle the Immortal Enemy.
Kindt and Lemire have worked together on previous projects, each a totally unique statement in comicbookdom, including Sweet Tooth and Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. Rivera is an Eisner award winning artist best known for his high-contrast, dramatic work with Daredevil. These three are a genuine dream team, I tell you.
The first issue is set for release in December of 2014. Can I start happy-dancing now or is it too early? It’s too early. I’ll reserve my happy-dancing for when no one is looking.
