The DC Daily Planet: DC’s Roadmap to Cinematic Domination?

The DC train keeps chugging, chugging, chugging along, just like the work week. Unlike your work week (hopefully), DC’s hit a little snag. Let’s check in with them and offer our condolences, shall we?

Everybody’s buzzing about the leaked list of upcoming movies in the works from DC: most notably the Justice League blockbuster and — surprise! — even Wonder Woman. So maybe she’s not too complicated for her own movie anymore?

Of course, a lot of these flicks have been rumored for years. What do you think? Is this DC’s roadmap to silver screen success? (Neither DC nor Warner Bros. has yet commented on the leak.)

Well, maybe they’re too busy with the launch of Infinity Man and the Forever People, the newest addition to the n52 lineup. It focuses on the New Gods and “could hold serious ramifications for the DC Universe.” That’s okay: Superboy can always punch it back into shape again.

Infinity Man

Infinity Man and the Forever People dropped this past Wednesday. Let us know what you think if you check it out!

There’s a new Constantine trailer out, and people are pumped. Why? Because it teases the inclusion of one of DC’s oldest characters, Dr. Fate. I admit it, I’m getting more and more pumped to watch this show once it premieres. Live-tweet premiere party, anyone? I’ll bring the popcorn.

A new collectible line is out, with a brand new theme that will have everyone checking in with their optometrist: it’s black and white Batman, for those fans who just can’t get enough grayscale in this Technicolor world and have eighty bucks to spare.

Personally, I’m still waiting for my blue and gray Adam West collectible, preferably with “SOCK! POW! WHAMMO!” action and featuring a selection of pithy anecdotes and abysmal puns.

And for those iZombie fans out there waiting with bated breath for the CW to release a logo, you’re in luck! They did just that, along with a few images featuring the main character, Olivia “Liv” Moore.

Looks like Tabasco really is good on everything.

Hear anything good, bad, amusing, or strange from DC this week? Let us know in the comments!
