We are looking to expand our coverage of books and book culture. To do that, we need you! That is, if you’re an experienced writer with an interest in books, book culture, and the book industry, then yeah, we need you.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Can commit to one or two short reviews a month, or one long review a month.
- Is an avid reader with an interest in a variety of subjects and genres.
- Reads internationally and beyond the canon (ie. more than just straight white dudes).
- Is an intersectional feminist progressive who grooves with our core values.
What We Can Offer You:
- In-house editing and critique from other staff writers.
- The chance to build big, collaborative projects with other staff writers.
- Press access and interview opportunities.
- Digital previews and ARCs.
- No money though. Not yet. (We’re all waiting on that.)
