This month, InterPop is donating proceeds from sales of their newest comic to The Trevor Project in celebration of Pride month and in support of LGBTQIA+ youth with a very special issue of Emergents Presents.of Emergents Presents. Emergents Presents is an anthology series that spotlights InterPop’s superpowered Emergents universe characters outside of their regular titles, The Nine, #ZoeMG, The Abyss, and The Rejects. Each issue of Emergents Presents features three characters and is published alongside a popularity vote. Top-voted characters return for additional short stories, allowing readers to truly shape the focus of this series.
This month’s issue of the anthology series will showcase the LGBTQIA+ characters of InterPop’s Emergents Universe with all proceeds (after creator royalties) going to The Trevor Project. We are pleased to share this preview featuring Afterimage, InterPop’s new trans superhero who first appeared in Emergents Presents #9, written by Eric Anthony Glover, with art by Ted Naifeh. Emergents Presents #9 will be free to read in a couple of weeks. Emergent Presents: Pride will be out on June 22, 2022.
