Dames Making Games (DMG) is looking for gaming pros to make short presentations and some general helping out for a four week game-making summer camp at the Rexdale Community Centre. Ten youths will learn about game-mechanics, art and visual design, programming, and sound design and effects. The camp will wrap up with an August 26th game showcase.
DMG is a feminist professional organization and activist group, dedicated to building space and community for women in gaming, and highlighting the achievements of women in Toronto’s diverse indie gaming community. They host monthly socials and game jams, and run a variety of programs and workshops.
