What is Roxy, you may ask? Per Rebellion:
Featuring stories from some of the best storytellers in comics today, Roxy revives the spirit of classic British romance comics for the 21st century, featuring unexpected and dynamic love and lust across four fun and flirty stories!
The original Roxy was a British girls romance comic published weekly by Amalgamated Press and Fleetway Publications between 1958 and 1963, which ran for 288 weekly issues and caught the imagination of young readers across Britain. Rebellion are proud to now revive the British girls romance comic for the modern day!
This campaign is to fund the publication of an all-new Roxy anthology featuring four new modern romance stories bound to inspire a whole new generation! As part of the campaign backers can choose from exclusive formats including a Retro-style paperback, and two different hardbacks with covers from renowned artists Marguerite Sauvage and Tula Lotay.

Alex de Campi is a bestselling, critically-acclaimed writer whose thrilling, zeitgeist-capturing graphic novel Parasocial hit a bunch of 2023 best-of lists. Her recent graphic novels include the bitingly funny action story Bad Karma and all-ages animal adventure Scrapper (with
games legend Cliff Bleszinski). She’s also known for Madi (with Rogue Trooper director Duncan Jones), the bestselling Dracula, Motherf**ker!, and the Eisner-nominated Bad Girls. She is a 2000AD regular and also writes for TV and film (the Blade Runner anime;
Scavengers Reign) and is on social media as @alexdecampi.
Erica Henderson is a multiple Eisner winning comic artist known for her original graphic novel at Image, Dracula, Motherf**ker! and her miniseries with Image/Skybound, Assassin Nation, co-created with Kyle Starks. She’s also known for rebooting The Unbeatable Squirrel
Girl and Jughead series. Henderson has not lived in New York for a decade, but still has very strong opinions on bagels.
