It’s nearly September, which means the season of the witch is almost upon us. For Archie’s Sabrina Spellman, every day is Halloween — and in Sabrina the Teenage Witch Annual, her personal costume party is about to get even more crowded when new witches Jade and Sapphire show up to the party. Power of Three, the duo’s introductory tale, sees the twosome team up with Amber Nightstone to zap Sabrina to an unexpected locale, leaving her to figure out how to get home.

“It was sooooo fun drawing Amber!!! I love her short fuse and her fiery conviction! As you might see, I don’t judge ‘villains’; I love to see things from their point of view and give them internal motivation so perhaps the reader may relate. We all have a shadow side and sometimes it’s fun to have it come out and play—on a comic book page, of course, not real life, because that’s just plum mean if ya do,” said Holly G!, who drew the art for the issue’s exclusive story. “When drawing these pages, I felt so inspired to inject a big dose of ‘Magical Girl’ energy, like from Sailor Moon or Tokyo Meow Meow!”

“Oh, and I got to draw Salem again, YAY!!! I loooooove that pussycat! And you’ll see an updated look for Enchantra; I graced her with the glamor and beauty of Bollywood as an homage to my beloved Nanny Maria.”

“So, get ready for some magical mayhem, because this story is gonna thrill ya!”

Rotante, inks by Jim Amash, colors by Glenn Whitmore, and letters by Jack Morelli. And for an additional bonus, the tale that started it all — Presenting Sabrina the Teenage Witch from 1962’s Archie’s Mad House #22, in its entirety! The legendary origin story features writing from George Gladir, art from Dan DeCarlo, Inks by Rudy Lapick, and letters by Vincent DeCarlo.
