Good Things Come In Threes with Lois Lane: Triple Threat

Lois Lane: Fallout. Switch Press.

We’ve been supporting author Gwenda Bond’s Lois Lane series on the site because we believe in this whip smart iconic girl reporter, and it’s unthinkable for someone like Lois to not lead a series of her own. With Lois Lane: Fallout and Lois Lane: Double Down being embraced by readers and earning starred reviews, Switch Press—the Young Adult imprint of Capstone—has announced a third book called Lois Lane: Triple Threat.

“The critical and fan response to Lois Lane: Fallout Lois Lane: Double Down has exceeded our expectations and we are excited to continue the series with Triple Threat,” said Beth Brezenoff, Editorial Director of Capstone/Switch Press. “Book three will further Lois’s relationship with SmallvilleGuy and bring her deeper into the crime filled underbelly of Metropolis – readers will love what Gwenda Bond has come up with.”

“I can’t overstate what an honor it is to be part of Lois Lane’s history and tell stories about her for a new audience,” says Bond. “I’m also extremely grateful for the support of the fans of the books and the character – you’re the reason I get to keep doing this and so thank you all!”

I’ve been enjoying the series and it’s been great seeing Lois accessible to teens of all genders. It’s scheduled to come out on May 1, 2017 but while you’re waiting, check out more of our coverage of the series below.

  1. This is so exciting! I have apparently been living under a rock, so I just heard of this series. I am going to pick it up ASAP! I’ll probably even pass it on to my 11 year old sister to read.
