Syfy Developing Kirkman’s “Clone,” Grossman’s “The Magicians”

Sy6101718fy made several announcements today regarding its upcoming programming plans. According to one of several press releases, they are “building on the momentum of Syfy’s growing slate of cutting edge, provocative original programming.”

For comics and fantasy readers, the announcement brings excitement in both short form programming and long form programming.

In short form, they are adapting two graphics novels, Clone by creators Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, and Letter 44 by Jonathan Mostow, as well as the popular novels The Magicians, by Lev Grossman.

In long form, they are adapting two other graphic novels, Pax Romana by Jonathan Hickman and Ronin by Frank Miller.
