Simon & Schuster to stream new Stephen King short story on July 2, 2015
Read by Tim Sample, the story will be broadcast live simultaneously on CBS radio stations across America. It will be released a few days earlier as a CD audiobook and for digital download on June 30.

100th branch of Toronto Public Library set to open on May 20
As someone who’s spent years in a country without public libraries, news like this always makes me happy. Libraries aren’t just book repositories, after all—they provide valuable services to the community at large, and provide learning opportunities that may not be available to everybody. I’m excited to see how this new addition to the city will help it grow.

Though she doesn’t claim to be 100% sure, historian Dr. Susan Law cites five years of research as the basis for her naming the first Earl of Morley, John Parker, as the inspiration for Fitzwilliam Darcy. Parker was the husband to a friend of Jane Austen’s and seemingly moved in the same circles as the author.
