Fangirl Jeanne is a friend to many in the WWAC community. From her Twitter, she’s been a constant advocate for marginalized voices and an organizer working for diversity in publishing. We’re heartbroken to hear of the sudden death of her husband, and her subsequent economic insecurity. From the YouCaring page that has been set up on Jeanne’s behalf:
On September 16, 2016, this dedicated mother of two young boys lost her beloved husband without warning. Jeanne is a stay-at-home mom. Her husband did everything he could to make sure his family was taken care of, and specifically so their boys would have everything they need. He would be heartbroken to know he passed away before he could ensure that.
