Goat Simulator game now available for iOS and Android
The popular ridiculousness that is Goat Simulator is now available for your mobile devices. The trailer for the original PC game launched in April, and now has over seven million YouTube views. The idea came from a one-month game jam back in January at Coffee Stain Studios.

White House game jam 
Speaking of game jams, the White House held a 48 hour jam this past weekend to create educational games. It’s part of a broader effort to get companies interested and involved in the educational gaming space.

Microsoft buys Minecraft for $2.5 billion 
No one is quite sure what it means for either Minecraft or Microsoft, but the billion dollar deal made headlines.

Boys’ Toys? presents at Women in Games Conference
Presenting at last week’s Women in Games Conference in London, two students are creating a documentary about how the increasing the number of women in the video game industry will change both the treatment and the archetype of the weak, hypersexualized female in video games.
