Hey! Hi! Hello! Did you also forget it was Monday because you got back from a convention last night and are fighting off a fever at work today? No? Just me? Well, without further ado, here’s some Marvels and what have you:

Comic sales saw pretty decent spike this past month, largely owed to Rocket Raccoon #1.

This week’s Only Piece Of News I Care About: Kyle Maclachlan (Agent Dale Cooper and fictional mayor of Portland, Oregon) will be joining the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This may be the only reason I ever watch this show. Maclachlan will be playing Skye’s (Chloe Bennet) father, but I say go ahead and fire everyone else, replacing them with Kyle Maclachlan. Kyle Maclachlan plays all the roles. It’s like a late-90s Eddie Murphy movie.

Josh Brolin talked to IGN about playing Thanos. Despite there being some critique of how Marvel is handling the rollout of the Marvel cinematic universe’s Big Bad, he seems pretty stoked.

Nova wasn’t in Guardians of the Galaxy, but he sure was in the concept art lookin’ rad!

Speaking of Guardians (and aren’t we all, constantly, for the rest of our lives), people noticed that there was a conspicuous lack of Gamora available in the film’s merchandising, prompting a #WheresGamora hashtag. So, Dis-Marvel: where is Gamora?

Something delightful: here is Vin Diesel discussing his process behind every “I am Groot” in Guardians. Vin Diesel is such a treat, you guys.
Alright, I’m off to go die. Enjoy the week! Comics! Yay!
