The finale of “The Blood of Grayskull” is here! Darkness has taken over Eternia. He-Man is dead. Only one person can save the day – she is Adora. She is She-Ra!
Today The Mary Sue gave us our first look at She-Ra a.k.a Princess Adora, sister of Prince Adam/He-Man.
There are a few criticisms to made of this new look. Her new loincloth may not be the most practical costume piece ever. But the look is at least consistent with the wardrobe of many of the male characters in this Universe. The high heeled boots are annoying as well. One would think an experienced warrior would demand more pragmatic gear.
There are some positives though. A chest piece that covers her entire chest is certainly refreshing. And her well defined muscles and strong head-on stance depicts her as the powerful warrior she is. Not butt poses for this princess!
The above cover for issue #18 of He-Man and the Masters of The Universe was designed by Stjepan Šejić. The issues will be written by Dan Abnett with art by Pop Mhan. It goes on sale October 22.
