A Little Wonder in Another Woman?

There’s been a lot of casting speculation since the rumor was confirmed that the sequel to Man of Steel will have a Wonder Woman role. Last week we learned that Israeli actor Gal Gadot was chosen for the role. In the words of director Zack Snyder, “We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”

Ok, at least he knows how to schmooze an audience that has been clamoring for the Princess of Themyscira for years, only for our cries to fall on Warner Bros’ deaf ears.

But while this casting call is setting the blogosphere ablaze with speculation (and the usual sexist remarks), we thought we’d take a moment to consider some of the other Wonderful Women who have been batted around as worthy to step into Lynda Carter’s bright red boots.

So what do you think? Gal Gadot herself, or who else would you pick to see in her satin tights, fighting for our rights, and the old red, white and blue?
